We started as a home organizing company and continue to do so. You don't need to relocate or downsize to organize your life. We start with an in-person assessment, which results in a customized implementation plan. We recommend equipment and supplies and you end up with a living space that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
Moving Forward Services engages with you to understand your life and identify the organizational system that you will be able to maintain. It's not just about what looks great, but about keeping that feeling of relief, day in and day out. Only a system that is designed for you will give you the confidence that you can maintain it. Moving Forward creates and develops this client confidence from the beginning estimate throughout the entire process.
Move Management
We utilize our specialty of helping our clients sort, "purge", and organize their items to facilitate parts or the whole process that you must navigate when you downsize, relocate, and/or “age in place”. These services encompass facilitating, supervising, providing support and technical expertise for anything with which you might need assistance, including but not limited to:
- Creating relationships to sell your home
- Identifying desirable communities to move to
- Downsizing and organizing your possessions
- Packing and moving
- Unpacking in an organized manner in the new residence
We started by specializing in senior move management, and have since broadened our scope to manage moves for all clients, regardless of age. Moving Forward is client-focused. The entire process, or portions of it, are determined by YOU! Emotional and physical support is provided during every step, whether you are decluttering, organizing, downsizing, relocating, and/or “aging in place.”
Initial Consultation

Whether you are decluttering, organizing, downsizing, and/or moving, during the initial in-person consultation we will assess your needs and develop a Customized Implementation Plan.
This Customized Implementation Plan includes but is not limited to:
- Strategy and detailed plan to reach your needs and preferences
- Storage and other product recommendations
- Floor plan(s), when applicable
- Approach, tips, and ideas for each area
Keep or Trash
Have you accumulated a large number of possessions over the years? Most of us have. Not sure if they still have value? Do you need help deciding what to keep and what to dispose of?
Moving Forward Services can help create a vision and solution that works for you, your possessions, and your living situation. Some of these solutions include:
- Containing the items in an organized and sustainable way that works for your unique lifestyle
- Recommending a contractor who can create additional efficient storage space, such as building better shelving systems, cabinets, or an outdoor shed
- Organizing and facilitating junk removal

Sell or Donate
Over the years you collect a lot of items. You most likely don't realize you have all these items until it is time to relocate or the stress of the clutter becomes overwhelming.
These items can be very difficult to part with. We are with you every step of the way. Moving Forward identifies what items are valuable to sell or donate. Moving Forward can identify alternatives to preserve memories without having to maintain tangible objects. You decide what to keep. Moving Forward Services also identifies the best donation centers and consignment shops/estate sales based on location, market value, and capabilities.
Our client-driven philosophy allows you to determine if you want to take these items directly to that Partner, or if you would prefer Moving Forward to transport your items with you or for you.

Moving Forward Services has established relationships with Partners that will create the smoothest transition possible. We provide honest feedback and easy-to-read templates to discuss the differences and the pros and cons of using certain types of Partners versus others. Moving Forward Services can create a Comparison Chart that is easy-to-read, visualize, and discuss comparing Partners for you to decide which Partner is best suited for your unique needs. When needed, these services can be the last piece to the puzzle Moving Forward provides to create a complete smooth transition.
